Terms & Conditions
What to expect when enquiring, arranging work and approving a quote.
Last updated
These general terms explain how plumbing work is arranged with Panther Plumbing Group. Read them alongside the quotation and job details agreed with you. They do not replace your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Enquiries and appointments
Panther Plumbing Group accepts enquiries for plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across Sydney. Sending an enquiry or seeing the thank-you page does not confirm a booking or an attendance time. We will discuss the work and confirm arrangements with you.
For an urgent problem, call 0404 939 121. We attend plumbing emergencies 24/7, but we can’t guarantee a fixed arrival time. Timing depends on the fault, location and access, and is discussed when you call.
Quotes and website cost guides
A quote is based on the proposed scope, access, materials and information available at the time. Investigation, attendance fees, after-hours charges, exclusions and any other applicable costs will be discussed as part of the quotation or approval process.
Prices and ranges in our plumbing cost guides are indicative budgeting information, not a quote for your property. Read the inclusions and assumptions in each guide. Your job’s scope, condition and access can change the cost.
Agreed work and changes
The agreed job scope sets out the work to be carried out. Concealed pipework, existing damage or access restrictions may only become clear during inspection or work.
If additional work is identified, we will explain the proposed change and its cost before proceeding with that additional work. Any job-specific exclusions or responsibilities should be recorded with the agreed scope.
Property access and booking changes
Please provide accurate job details, tell us about known access restrictions or hazards, and arrange any permission needed from the owner, tenant, strata manager or other responsible person.
If you need to change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss a suitable arrangement. Any job-specific attendance or cancellation terms should be explained when the work is arranged.
Payment
Payment terms, available payment methods and any deposit requirements are confirmed with the job. Check the quotation and invoice for the agreed amount and payment details, and contact us if anything is unclear before making payment.
Completed work and your rights
Ask which product documentation and any additional workmanship terms apply to your work. These do not replace rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where consumer guarantees apply, services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for an agreed purpose and be supplied within a reasonable time if no time is agreed. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If there is a problem with work we have carried out, contact Panther and explain what has happened. Include the job address, approximate date and relevant photos if it is safe to take them. You can read more about consumer rights and guarantees on the ACCC website.
Using website information
Website guides provide general plumbing information. They cannot diagnose a particular property or replace an on-site assessment. Do not attempt work that requires a licensed tradesperson or put yourself at risk to inspect a fault.
Our Privacy Policy explains how enquiry details, photos and website usage information are handled.
Questions about your job
Contact Panther Plumbing Group if you have a question about a quotation, invoice, appointment or completed work. Have your job address or quotation details ready so we can identify the work you are asking about.
