The fault, access to the pipework, parts and repair method affect the cost. A visible tap fault is different from a leak inside a wall or a damaged underground drain. We explain the assessment needed and the proposed work before proceeding. Ask about any call-out or assessment charge when arranging a visit.

Photos and a description help us understand the job, identify fittings and plan access. Concealed leaks, recurring blockages and changes to existing pipework may need an inspection before the repair can be priced. We will explain what can be assessed from your enquiry and what needs checking at the property.

Call 0404 939 121 with your address, the fault and whether water or wastewater is still escaping. Our emergency phone line is open 24/7. We confirm current availability and the next step during the call; sending a form does not confirm an attendance time. Keep clear of unsafe areas.

Tell us whether you are the owner, tenant, property manager or building contact, who can approve the work and who will provide access. For shared pipework, we may need access to other lots or a service room. Confirm the approval arrangements with your property or strata manager before non-urgent work proceeds.
